I have been around photography since I was 10. My father was a professional photographer and I helped with the family business. I grew up schlepping Mamiya C330's and 645's. By age 16 I had assisted on hundreds of shoots.
These days I fully embrace the digital format. I don't discriminate when it comes to subject matter. If I find it interesting or pleasing to the eye I will shoot it. I am not a purist and am well versed in a multitude of post processing techniques. If I have to wake up in the middle of the night in the freezing cold or scale down rock faces to capture an image I am all the more pleased.
In my other lives I am a father to an amazing 5 year old girl, a fanatic foodie/cook and winemaker/wine lover.
